Hello,

My name's Caoimhe and I'm a 26 year old dog lover from Ireland. Having grown up with big dogs (previously Rossa, a beautiful border collie who was with me from the age of 4 and the current family dog, Ralph, a big and energetic German Shepherd/lab mix) I am no stranger to handling strong, high energy dogs both at home and out and about in public and on leash walks.

In December I spent a few weeks volunteering at a shelter in Thailand for stray or abandoned dogs who could no longer fend for themselves. I dealt with all kinds of dogs here from disabled dogs who needed wheelchairs to get around to older boys who had never even known human contact. I cared for puppies, teenagers and elderly dogs with daily walks, leash training, playing and feeding, and most importantly, just showering these beautiful doggos with the love and affection they so deserved.

Since then, I have come to Perth where I have been helping to look after the most beautiful 1.5 year old Kelpie named Ruudi. While she belongs to a family member with whom I am staying, myself and my partner have helped to care for Ruudi since December and now we are caring for her full time while her Dad is in hospital.

Outside of caring for Ruudi I have quite a bit of spare time on my hands at the minute and so I would love to be able to share some love with some more dogs while their parents are away or working etc. I am confident in walking most dogs on a leash, or if your dog is ok with others, a dog park is always great for some off-leash time. I am also happy to just check in on your dog from time to time and could even look after them for a longer period if that was in your home or in mine if they got on well with Ruudi (she is very easy going and generally doesn't have much interest in other dogs).
