I love animals, and have been pet sitting and foster caring dogs and cats on and off for most of my adult life. I spent my uni days moving from house-to-house looking after other people‘s fur babies (and plants) and loved it. I’ve always had pets in my family however I don’t have any of my own any more due to semi frequent travelling. So I love the opportunity to care for and have the company of other people‘s beloved pets. I’ve largely been in foster caring with some pet sitting the last five years. There was even one occasion where I was fostering a first-time mother cat that turned out to be pregnant... again! so ended i up with a cat and six kittens for a few months! It was unexpected, they were cheeky and a handful, but it was delightful. I love taking dogs (or cats.. ;) ) for daily walks, and have a number of great walks around my area from along the streets and paths, to dog parks, to beautiful bushy nature walks, depending on your furry friends favourite scenery. The length of the walk will depend on what your friend requires, and there's normally up to 30 minutes twice a day on a work day and weekends up to a few hours if I go out into nature.I am also happy to work with training where needed, and giving them lots of snuggles. My aim is always to hope your furry pal feels just as at home on holidays with me as they do with you.I don’t have any children, pets or housemates and work from home, so I’m home most of the time. and if I head out on a nature adventure i’ll normally take your furry pet with me if they enjoy that. I live in a house and have a secure backyard with high colour bond and high regular fencing.I’d be delighted and feel privileged to take care of your furry friend. Although I am new to paw shake so I’m still building my reviews in here, I have attached a few testimonials regarding my work before joining this site. I’ve also been sitting on another site for the past four months and have a lot of reviews there. I’d be happy to answer any questions if you feel like I might be a good fit for you and your pet.About their stay:One walk is included per night in my fee. If extra walks are required they are charged at five dollars extra as a part of the overnight fee. Your pet is welcome to sleep in with me on the floor, as long as they aren't disruptive during the night (I.e. super loud snoring). Otherwise they have a beautiful space to sleep in my lounge room.I have a reasonable sized fully fenced backyard with a pool. I have shown a photo of the pool gate. when your pet is outside I shut the pool gate so they don't have access to the pool. Mind you your pet will tend to be inside all of the time with me, Unless you prefer them outside. I only generally take them out to go to the bathroom unless you request outdoor time in the yard. Went home I leave the door open to the backyard so they can come in an hour as they please as well. Please note that my overnight fee is for drop off any time from the morning for each 24 hour period. If you require a later pick up that’s totally fine and incurs the doggy daycare fee.Doggy daycare fee is for care for your pet any time between 730am and 630pm. Any care outside of this time incurs the full overnight fee.Pick up time needs to be pre-agreed for all bookings, as I work with clients in the evening and can’t always be flexible if you’re needing a change of time. I do my best to be flexible wherever possible when I don’t have other bookings though.Soiling fee - please note I charge a $50 soiling fee if there are for some reason repeated soilings during your precious friends stay. This is very rare but helps to cover cost of cleaning products and extra time cleaning where this occurs.

I also charge a puppy surcharge, for dogs under 12 months. We can discuss this at the meet and greet.

Unfortunately the Pawshake insurance also does not cover any damage to property. If this occurs, I will also have a discussion about reimbursement for replacement of any items. Again this is ever a rare occurrence, particularly if your dog doesn’t tend to chew or soil!
