Hi! My name is Alicia and I run an animal rescue called Leah's Pawsitive Future.
With the help of some family and friends, I have rescued and rehabilitated over 100 animals in the last two years.
Outside of my rescue work, I own a dog and rabbit, plus our two cats. I am well versed in giving medications, whether its injections, tablets or syrups!
My animals are spoilt, so I will treat your babies just the same! :-)
I have a wealth of knowledge (thanks to my animal rescue) on what to do in the unfortunate case of an emergency - hopefully that'll put your mind at ease.
I am also more than happy to provide updates! I know sometimes it gets hard to enjoy yourself on holidays when your babies are still at home - I can send photos and messages as often as you want. Even get them to jump on facetime with you.
I have experienced the gut wrenching feeling of knowing your animal has fallen ill and you are on the other side of the world, trust in me to help make this process and your holiday so much easier.
Send through any questions you might have!
Alicia was great she looked after our cat really well and he was very content when we arrived back home. definitely recommend her work!
Alicia stepped in at the last minute to care for our ageing and somewhat ill Burmese cat. I suspected her background with rescue animals would be just what he needed - and I was right. She was a perfect fit our pet: understanding of his needs, empathetic to his situation and patient with his ways. All that, plus a level head to make sensible decisions, a quiet confidence to reassure pet owners - and a responsible attitude to security at our home. Alicia kept us regularly updated with texts, photos and even videos. We couldn't have asked for more. We - and our cat - can't wait to see her again.
