Hi! My name is Leigh!
I have a love of many animals, but dogs are my true little loves! I have been living, traveling, studying and working in Australia for the past year and a half as my best friend is Australian, but I am originally from Minnesota in the United States.
I have two small dachshunds of my own back home named Dachsle and Hogan and have cared for many family and friends pets whilst they’ve been away or working.
Pet care duties I’ve done in the past have included: walking, bathing, feeding, administration of medications, cage cleaning, yard “land mine” clean up, etc. I have also cared for cats, rats, cockatiels, fish and even chickens.
I am a fast learner and am willing to care for other animals if needed!
I’ve been a part of Pawshake now for roughly a year and have done a variety of home daily feed and companion visits, stay over care and walks.

Leigh was a great pet and house-sitter! She took a personal interest in our 2 dogs and treated them like her own in the 2 weeks that she looked after them. Leigh was able to do a few of the odd jobs that was asked of her when we were away. She kept in contact with us. When we returned the yard was clean and house had been cleaned too including some extra things that made our return more pleasurable as there were no surprises. We even came back to 2 sketches she did of the dogs. I would really recommend Leigh; a caring and professional pet and home sitter.
