I have loved animals from a young age and as I have come into adulthood...well, the same story. While I have a deep love for animals in a general way, since adopting my Kelpie, Bug in 2018, I have begun researching and educating myself on dog behaviour, how to train dogs, learning about other breeds and Kelpies (of course - I am not biased though, love them all!). I have previous experience in caring for animals mostly cats and dogs, of many ages and would love to take care of your animals. I have gained experience with dogs that are anxious and have some reactivity, as my own dog, Bug has some separation anxiety (that we work on with training daily) and has previously been reactive to people/dogs on walks. So rest assured, if your dog is a bit nervous, I have experience with this therefore it won't deter me from walking your pet, and will follow your instructions if you have any, on the best way to manage this with your pet and make them feel comfortable.

A typical day with me caring for your dog would be, a lovely walk in your neighbourhood (one where we will mind our own business, sitting before crossing, sniffing all of the things, resting in the grass, etc) followed by a play session too if your pup needs a bit more! Before the day is over, I will make sure they have fresh water and food if requested by you and a cuddle of course. If there is a specific spot your dog loves to go, rest assured I have a safe car with doggy-seatbelts and a blanket for comfort. I always carry treats with me so I can reward the dogs for good behaviour, however, I 100% respect your choice of not feeding treats.

For home visits, I will be at your home for an hour once or twice, depending on how you have booked, I will take your pet to the toilet if they are inside, or outside your house should you live in apartments or units. I will play with your pup, give plenty of cuddles and follow the dog's lead, meaning if they are more chilled out on a particular day I will ease into that. Or if they are feeling super playful and energetic, we will play with their toys! Before I leave, we will have some chilled-out time so when I go they are comfy and in a relaxed state of mind.

A typical cat day with me would be going to your home and giving your sweet cat all of the scratches and cuddles. If they enjoy playing with toys, I will do that for sure. Before I leave, I will always make sure they have fresh water and food if requested by the owner. If all your cat wants is a cuddle on the couch, I can definitely do so. Likewise, if you just need someone to pop in and say hello to your cat if you have a long day at work, I can do that too!

I am not a trainer, but if you are currently training your dog or cat and have any skills you want to work on during the day, I can do my best to do some training with them on our walk.

My best interest is that your pet is well cared for and has a lovely morning/afternoon with me.

Dog walking: Half an hour/1hr, depending on the pooch and their activity needs. You will receive photo updates of your dog and a summary of how the walk went!

Home visits: 1hr x 2 (for AM/PM if booking 2 visits) Service includes feeding, refilling water, playing with your pet, I can also bring the mail in, put bins out, water plants if you wish. If your pet requires more visits due to separation anxiety or medication, I can accommodate for this and pop past additionally (shorter duration than 1-hr) to what you have booked, please just message me. Prices may change due to distance. Again, photos will be supplied with ease and an update on how they are doing.

Overnight stay/House sitting: I will walk your dog and do all of the above for your pet. I will take care of your home as I am reliable, and of course extra care of your pets. Photos, videos, and an update of your pet will be supplied multiple times during the stay period and daily.
