Hello! I'm Ally :)

Since I was born, I have always had dogs in my life. I was also a volunteer dog walker and socialiser at Pet Orphans of Southern California for 10 years. I have experience with all types of breeds, ages, activity levels and temperaments. I can easily tell when a dog is shy and needs the space to warm up to me, or wants all the attention and pats from the beginning.

I have been dogsitting in Melbourne for 4 years now, and had to eventually cave and get my own pup. I have an 18-month old staffy x kelpie named Roo. I will likely bring her along, so please keep this in mind and reach out only if your doggo(s) is/are friendly and would like some additional company! There should be photos of her in my profile, but feel free to reach out to have a chat.

I have loved dogsitting and meeting so many amazing pups over the years—I couldn’t bring myself to give it up.

I work full time (currently from home, but anticipate 2 days a week in the office shortly), but promise to give your pup plenty of attention, affection and time outdoors.

I am comfortable giving medication such as eye drops, sneaking a pill into some mince or cheese or using any type of cream or antiseptic.
