We are a laid-back, dog-loving family from Texas - very experienced with dogs. We have recently moved to Melbourne after 12 years in Singapore where we have been active on Pawshake since 2015. 

This is country number three for our Texas dog abroad, Pistol, who enjoys having doggy friends over. Pistol is a 13kg Dachshund/Shiba Inu mix and is submissive and very friendly with all people and all other breeds. 

We have just recently added Howdy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy to the family. She is very sweet and cuddly.

We only accept one booking at a time so you can rest assured that your dog bestie is comfortable and happy. Jason works from home, therefore, there is someone home all day to attend to your dog's needs. Your pup will have the same rules here that they have at home - if they are allowed on the sofa or sleep in bed with you...they are free to do that here also but we will adhere to your preferences so they aren't coming home with any new habits. 

If your pup is accident prone inside the house, that isn't a problem but please let us know so that we can roll up the rugs.

We live in a comfortable, fully fenced house in Hampton. We are very close to dog friendly beaches and dog friendly cafes your doggy will enjoy on relaxed long walks. Also, if you would like us to help with pickup/drop-off please let us know.

We would be happy to meet with you in person to answer any and all of your questions. We have been "Paw-shaking" since 2015 and have had only wonderful experiences with our guests and their owners.

We do now have a boy, Conrad, born in 2020 so please let us know if your fur-kid is friendly with the human type kids. He has absolutely loved the puppy guests and is not one to overly pester them

** Note - we only accept one booking at any given time. This is to ensure that your pet gets all the attention they deserve and that we can ensure a stress-free environment for your pup. We will, however, take multiple dogs from the same family.
