About Me:
My name is Alicia but most people call me Ally. I am a final year Physiotherapy student and have been working in the health field (as a Dental Nurse) for the past 10 years. I decided it was time to move forward with my career and become a health practitioner. Becoming a physiotherapist for animals is a potential future career path for me post
graduating from Physiotherapy.
I have always been passionate about animals. Not just interacting with them but also about their health, wellbeing and populations in the wild. I've had experience with animals large and small. Throughout my life I've had dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, mice, hermit crabs and fish as pets. I'm also currently undertaking horse riding lessons which is really opening my mind to how intuitive animals can be, plus it's a lot of fun! I would also love to work with animals such as orcas, tigers, pandas etc in a manner that promotes them living out in the wild over living in captivity.
A friend of mine recommended I get into pet walking / sitting etc for 2 reasons. 1: to help me earn some money around Uni and 2: to give me the animal interaction I love but can't have currently due to not being allowed pets in my rental.
