We’re a dog-loving family who can’t imagine life without furry friends. My husband and I both grew up with dogs and, until recently, shared our lives with two beautiful labradors. We have a golden lab, Nala, a gentle, affectionate soul who loves nothing more than being close by, especially when the kids are watching TV and giving her pats.

Our children, now 11 and 10, have grown up with dogs and absolutely adore them. Over the past few months, we’ve had the pleasure of caring for family and friends’ pets and found it so rewarding that we decided to do more of it. We understand how important it is to know your dog is safe and loved while you’re away — and we’re here to provide exactly that, in a warm family home.

Our dogs have always been very much inside dogs, but we’re happy to accommodate your pet’s needs — whether they prefer to be indoors or outdoors. We’re home all day Thursday to Sunday every week, and Monday to Wednesday after school hours, so your pup will never be short of company.

In addition to welcoming dogs into our home, we also offer home visits from Thursday to Sunday. Whether you’d like one or two visits a day, we’ll make sure your pets are fed, played with, and given plenty of love and attention. We’re also happy to water plants, bring in the mail, and take care of bins — all those little things that help keep your home ticking over while you’re away.

We do ask that any dogs staying with us are well socialised with both children and other dogs, because we have both in our home. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to offer overnight pet sitting in your home, as we have children and a dog of our own. But we’d be delighted to welcome your furry friend into our family instead — giving them their own little holiday while you’re away on yours.
