About Sally
About Sally
I offer pet sitting in my home, I love walking but, would be better with a four legged friend, genuinely love dogs and caring for them, over the years I have had my own dogs but, now look after other peoples.
I work as a carer working shift work hours so I am home at various times during the day, I am fully vaxxed (X 3),
I have been police checked.
OVERNIGHT BOARDING
All non destructive pets welcome, calm & quiet one on one care in my home, indoors or outdoors, once or twice daily feeds, cuddles and couch time is a must, play time in the garden, eye hygiene and maintenance coat grooming as needed, toilet routine with immediate waste clean up.
THE DAILY ROUTINE
No children to distract me from your fur baby. If I leave for work your pet will be safe.
When I am not at work I am a homebody and I love spending time in the garden, cooking or in my creative studio creating wearable art, cushions or designing.
My hobbies involve either my garden, creating something in my studio or your pets.
I am a very friendly and calm person who enjoys hosting pets at home, allowing you to plan a holiday! I have no pets living here, so your pet gets 100% of my attention. There are no children to stress your pet or distract me from your pet.
I will take care of pets from my family from time to time so there may be an extra dog around.
I have a very quiet clean home with a large garden. Safe, clean and tidy and respectful. Your pet can enjoy the peaceful, sunny & sheltered garden, or seek the comfort of the couch while watching their favourite channel inside my home.
I love having company sit with me on the couch in the evenings. Even allowed to sleep in the bedroom as long as there is no snoring.
The back garden is very private, secure(locked), and sheltered with large trees for shade and tall fences.
Plenty of water bowls around the backyard with fresh water daily.
I grew up in country Victoria and have owned many animals
HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING
You need to create your pets profile. Please include photos. MORE info is better than less
Select the dates you'll be away
Send me your enquiry and include the following: A brief example of their normal routine for the day. Things like:
Do they usually stay inside or outside? Are they house trained? What average length of time between toilet breaks? Where do they sleep? How often do they go on walks? What is the maximum length of time left alone? Are they allowed on the couch or bed? How do you manage incessant barking?
Lets arrange a meet & greet. Discuss drop off and pick up times
Complete the Pawshake intake form & send it to me
What is the Pawshake Intake Form?
I will require an intake form for all first time clients. Please find this form via the PAWSHAKE website FAQ's. You can send pictures of the completed form via the Pawshake App, or send the document via email.
Make the booking via Pawshake
Add extra walks, make any adjustments, then follow prompts to confirm
It is VERY important you confirm your booking to secure your spot. Otherwise other clients may book the same dates because it looks like I am available!
A MEET & GREET
Meet and Greet appointments are free of charge and can be held in person or via online video. I recommend that you arrange a time to visit my home with your pet to make sure they are familiar and comfortable with the new space. This is especially important when you are booking a stay longer than a couple of nights.
PREPARE YOUR PET FOR THEIR STAY
A dose of flea and worm treatment is highly recommended and appreciated.
