I’m Aimée, 33, an experienced sitter for both cats and dogs, now settling into life in Melbourne with my partner. We’ve recently moved to Footscray, and I really miss having animals around. I used to live next door to my best friend and her dog, so spending time with a furry companion was just part of my everyday life.

Most of my experience is in house sitting and dog walking, and I’m comfortable stepping into a pet’s routine and keeping things calm and consistent. I’ve also supported a friend through caring for a very ill cat, helping with vet visits and arrangements, something that taught me a lot about staying steady and compassionate when animals need a bit of extra care.

I’m happiest when I can combine my daily routines with pets: long walks around the local parks, quiet afternoons working from home with a cat nearby, or simply being good company for animals who like someone around. While I can’t host pets at my place right now, I’m available for house sitting and drop-ins at your home.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a house full of them. We had a dog, many cats, rabbits, hamsters, even a few rats, so being around pets has always felt natural to me. I try to bring a calm presence, though I often can’t help being a bit excited when I get to cuddle a furry friend. To me, animals are the most genuine companions, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy.
