Hello,

My name is Pene, and I am currently a 3rd year Vet student at James Cook University. I am 25 years old and studying vet due to my obvious love for animals as well as my interest in medicine. I grew up in a family of vet, and was surrounded by my own pets which included everything from cats, dogs, rabbits, lizards, horses, sheep, and chickens. As well as this I have been working as a vet nurse part time for the last 6 years. This has assisted with my knowledge about animal handling, behaviour, and care.

I moved up to Townsville from Victoria and have been unable to have any pets of my own up here due to my constant travel between the two states. I would love the opportunity to look after any animals and help out in any way required, as I miss having pets of my own.

I am very reliable and easy to get along with.

My current university schedule means that I am very flexible with hours, and I am around for all major holidays. I am happy to travel as far as required and stay as long as needed.
