New to Pawshake Australia, but not new to pet sitting and caring for all types of animals. 

Currently taking bookings between Brunswick-Southbank (and occasionally Gippsland). from July onwards 2025.

Experience: I've been in animal welfare since 2016, volunteered globally in animal shelters, and pet sat/dog walked in Australia since 2016 through pet sitting companies, and Canada from 2023-25 through personal clients, pawshake Canada and via my website (amylouisegreen(.)com). I'm a conservationist and I am vegetarian.I am comfortable with all types of dogs and I am very adaptable to new spaces, as I have been living nomadically for the past 5 years. I love hiking with dogs, or taking them to the beach, or just cuddling with doggos/cats and enjoying time at home whilst I write.

My animals: I would love to stay at your home and look after your pets while you are away. I have a rescue lab/kelpie who I trained at home in Melbourne, who currently resides with my mum. I look forward to doggo and cat snuggles along my journey.

My flexibility: I have recently moved back to Australia after living in Canada for 2 years, so I'm not working and I'm taking time to stay in places across Victoria to visit family and spend quality time there. I'm also a writer, and I am usually home a little bit during the day, so I can be flexible with dog walking times and adjust to your routine schedule. Happy to water your plants and bring in the mail for you, and help in any way that I can!

Dog walking: Happy to be guided by you on where you like to take your pets for walks. Please let me know if they have any issues with other dogs, or if they need to go at different times/to certain places, or always go on the leash. I have experience with all types of dogs, some who are timid around other dogs, and some who can't be off leash, or some that are always off leash. I'm excited to learn more about your animal and get to know them :)

Cats: I've looked after cats who I cuddle and those who want their space! Happy to look after all types and love their different cheeky personalities.

Vehicle: I do not have a car, but I'm comfortable driving your vehicle if you'd like me to take your dog/s to certain places for outdoor adventures!

Camera: please let me know if there's any indoor/outdoor cameras or if you get alerts for them. I don't feel comfortable with indoor cams, so I'd love them to be turned off.

Guests: definitely not the party animal type, but I am the tea and chat type so at times I'd love to have a friend over if your animal is comfy with guests. I always check with pet owners prior if they're okay with having guests at their place though.

I always feel better when someone I can trust is looking after my pets whilst I'm away, and with this - I can assure you the same trust for your pets and home whilst you are away.
