I am a pommy pet nanny based in Fur-ny Hills. If you're settling in a new pet, working late, or going away I am available Fri - Sun, to care for your furry, feathered or finned friend(s) in the familiar comfort of their own home.
I've never been without a furry family member. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to entrust your fur baby to someone's care, if only for a day. When we moved to Brisbane from the UK, I found a fantastic pet shipper who looked after my Lola with amazing personal attention and care because I couldn't imagine our new life without her. Since we landed, our family has grown to include an RSPCA-rescue dog 'brother' for our girl, two rescue guinea pigs and four budgies.
I am an experienced owner of dogs of all shapes and sizes, from rescues to pedigrees, shih-tzus to a Neapolitan mastiff. I completed a grooming course, handling dogs of all shapes, sizes and dispositions in England, and recently gained my Dog First Aid qualification with DFA Australia. I have also owned gerbils, hamsters, fish, rabbits and cats. Basically I'm besotted with animals and I do this for the sheer love of it. There is no room in our home for any more pets, so I live vicariously through Pawshake!

I cannot thank Judith enough for looking after our cat when we went away. Judith was reliable, went above and beyond in her duties at the house to ensure Diesel was well cared for and kept us in the loop the whole time we were away. I was reluctant at first to hire a sitter we didn’t know as we have always relied on family, however Judith was lovely and tolerated all my anxiety (😂) so thank you so much!!
