Hi! My name is Nakiesha. I work part-time and would love to spend my extra time caring for pets and house sitting. Animals have always been a big part of my life - I find so much joy and peace in their company and caring for them. Growing up, I had quite literally every pet you could imagine, from ferrets and bird eating spiders to reptiles and sheep! I worked as a verterinary nurse for four years with ambitions to work in a zoo as I had wanted since I was a little girl. Due to this experience, I can administer medications if needed also and have hands on experience with animal care. Whether it’s caring for a cat that loves quiet cuddles or a dog that thrives on routine and playtime, I pride myself on being attentive, calm and nurturing.

I’ve had plenty of experience caring for the pets of friends, family, and neighbours over the years and have had five previous paid house sitting jobs caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and a lizard, for a total of four months. I understand how important it is to maintain their routine, keep their environment safe, and give them the love they’re used to. I’m respectful of people’s homes and always aim to leave things just as I found them - or better.
