My motivation for being a pet sitter is my beautiful dog Holly. She is 7yrs old and has very mild anxiety aswell as some skin issues. Its been hard to find a pet sitter who will listen to me in regards to hollys needs. If her anxiety plays up it can cause her skin to become inflammed and itchy aswell as straying from her diet. I wanted to be a pet sitter who will listen to your needs and take the very best care of your pets while your away. I have found with my girl the best place for her to be looked after is in a familiar environment. I believe its a good way to keep your pets happy and calm while your away. I Have been working in the animal industry for over 4yrs. Every time i visit your pet at home i will make sure water is fresh daily, required food given and any medication is given aswell as creams/ointments applied. Depending on age and fitness of animals i can either exercise around yard/take for a walk or they can lap up a full 30mins of snuggles and pats. I will normally have treats of my own to give aswell, i will always ask to make sure they are ok to give. Some dogs and even cats have a strict diet to follow. With walking dogs i generally will not walk dogs over 20kgs. It depends all on their behaviour aswell as reaction behaviour to other dogs.
