Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years I’ve shared my home with
cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, and each one has brought so much joy and personality into my world. I’ve volunteered with ACT Wildlife, caring for injured and orphaned native animals, which deepened my understanding of animal behaviour and the importance of gentle, patient care.  

After many years as a teacher, I’m now taking time to slow down and focus on something that feels truly meaningful, spending time with animals. I’m calm, reliable and caring. I understand how much trust it
takes to leave your pets in someone else’s hands. Whether it’s walking, feeding or just keeping them company while you are away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and loved.  

I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and comfort level. With anxious or shy animals, I move at their pace and create calm, positive experiences. For older pets or young puppies, I’m gentle and patient, keeping walks short and safe, avoiding hot or wet weather, and steering clear of busy or stressful places.
Every animal is different, and I adjust my care to suit their needs so they can relax and enjoy themselves.
