I have recently retired and I am looking for some motivation to keep active both physically and mentally. Having been a dog owner almost all of my life I can think of no more enjoyable way to spend my leisure time than caring for animals, in particular dogs. Currently I have two dogs - Casper a white German Shepherd and Ariel a Jack Russell/Bull Terrier cross with Corgi legs. They are both fantastic dogs and they provide me with a great deal of love and joy.
I offer my services as a walker (2 hours minimum), sitter, play mate, drop in feeder/carer. I live in East Brisbane which is centrally located and can therefore come to you if you live in the inner Brisbane suburbs, north, south, east or west. I am very flexible in my operation and will work with you to provide the exact service you require. I would be honoured to be chosen to look after your pet and I will ensure your dog is given the same love and attention that I bestow upon my own dogs.
I am a great believer in letting dogs have fun in a playful but structured environment. Obviously some dogs require special attention due to health, age etc. and with that in mind, every dog's needs will be assessed with your input and catered for individually.
The nicest compliment I have received recently was from one of the dog owners at a park we visit frequently when she said "Phil, if reincarnation is real I want to come back as one of your dogs".
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Phil clearly has the magic touch with animals! My skittish cats were the most relaxed they have ever been after having someone else look after them. I couldn’t recommend Phil more highly.
Although I am not a qualified obedience trainer, I have personally trained all ten dogs that I have owned in my life to date with great success.
For example, Casper our white German Shepherd was about 12 months old when we rescued him from the RSPCA. Unfortunately he had developed some bad traits including aggressive behaviour towards other dogs and some people. I could not let him off the lead in a dog park.
He is now a little over 2 years old and ii's a pleasure to take him to a park and see him playing with other dogs. In fact one of the owners at the park recently congratulated me on the complete turaround in his behaviour.
