You can be sure that your doggo and I will quickly bond, and that I'll treat them with the same level of love and care that I would treat my own. I care deeply about helping dogs feel calm, confident and content when I'm looking after them.

I bring warmth, gentleness, patience, attention and affection, as well as training skills! 

I love teaching dogs new tricks and games to keep their minds and bodies active, and to keep them distracted from missing you too much while you're away.

On a personal level, I'm sensitive, playful and compassionate. I have my own online private practice as a counsellor and work from home most of the time. This means your pet will have lots of company, even while I'm working (doggos love listening in on my sessions). 

I also love getting outdoors, hitting the gym, doing creative stuff and cooking.

I'm totally ok with dogs who are used to sleeping on the bed, or in the same room, just as long as they're good sleepers and don't snore loudly!

Anxious dogs (and pet parents) are my speciality, though I'm reluctant to care for any dog who's physically aggressive or unpredictability reactive.

My pet sitting rate includes:

🐕 Care for 1 - 2 dogs (or 1 dog + up to 2 cats - extra fees may apply for additional pets, including fish tanks)

📸 Daily photos and updates 

🚶‍♀️30mins of walking each day 

🍲 Typical daily necessities including feeding, water refresh, toileting, poop pick up/litter change, daily brush, medication (if needed - please discuss needs ahead of time), company, affection, maybe an occasional ukelele or movie session

🪡 Toy surgery, as needed

I have a 3 night minimum 

🏡 Home visits include:

- approx. 1 hour of quality time (often a little more when my schedule allows)

- walking 

- training (including common commands, teaching games and new skills)

- your dog's favourite activities (including swimming)

- poop pick up

This home visit service is available for pets who live within around 10 mins drive of Ballina. It's not suitable for people who are travelling and leaving their pets for multiple days.
