Hi fellow animal lovers,

My name is Rachel and I am a mature professional person and I love animals, particularly dogs. I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by horses, cows, dogs and cats. My first ever pet was a baby calf, so I am comfortable and confident around almost all animals, with the exception of snakes and rodents.

I have adopted several unwanted dogs in the past, so I am competent in handling animals with anxiety and abandonment issues. I have a warm and empathetic nature and I'm a kind and loving pet sitter. I will treat your pets as though they are my own.

I currently live in a apartment with my best little mate Roscoe the Bichoodle and he loves the company of other poodle breeds with similar temperaments. I only take small dogs for home boarding and a maximum of 2 dogs at a time. Your pet is welcome to sleep inside if that’s what they are used to at home. They are even welcome to sleep in the bed. Roscoe loves his furry friends to join him. Meet and greet and training history is required if you wish to have your pets at my home. Your pets will also need to be healthy and apartment trained, as I have carpet, which easily stains. If you require your pet to be cared for in your own home, that's no problem. Roscoe has other family members to care for him when I'm away.

My dog walking and home visit service provides your dog with a 45 minute walk per day. I also offer a complementary 45 minute walk per day with a house sit. Day care is 8am until 6pm.

My home visits for cats include feeding, kitty litter changes and also cuddles and a play.

I'm happy to organise a meet and greet to make sure you, your pet and I all have the right connection. I'm pretty fit and I am happy to take your dog for a run, as well as a walk. I am a full-time shift worker which gives me flexibility to offer services in line with my roster. I have had to satisfy both a criminal history and character assessment for my employment.
