Understandably, my current change in lifestyle is not suitable for all owners/pups, so provided the below works for you and is similar to your lifestyle, I would be more than happy to help you out.
Lifestyle
I am a Canadian who moved to Melbourne to attend the University of Melbourne for my Master of Architecture. I have recently completed my degree and am now working towards my accreditation. As such, I lead a busy lifestyle which understandably only caters to those who have a similar life.
I work full time, which may not be suitable for those pups who are used to having someone around for most of the day. Otherwise, I normally walk my pups before/after work.
This also means that I can no longer mind puppies who are not yet house-trained as I know they require more attention throughout the day.
Reason for Joining Pawshake
I have had multiple dogs in my lifetime (cocker spaniels and a shetland sheepdog). I was thinking of becoming a foster and then stumbled across this website, it was a perfect match. Dogs are a big responsibility and due to the nature of my visa, I didn't believe it would be fair to get a dog for myself.
Environment
I live in a two-bedroom apartment in Docklands, no roommates or personal pets. Suitable for pups who are used to apartment living as the closest grass is a bit of a walk away. Otherwise, there is a lot of grassy areas around and a large park roughly 10 minutes away.
Due to living in an apartment, I have to be mindful of neighbours so, unfortunately, can't take on pups with separation anxiety anymore as I have had complaints in the past. I have experience with shelter dogs, however, with my busy schedule, I cannot cater to those that cannot be home alone for prolonged periods of time, unfortunately.
I do have an enclosed balcony which I have placed fake grass onto that some pups I look after are used to using at their home. This generally works for those pups that are used to having access to the backyard to go to the bathroom during the day.
Conclusion
Provided all of the above is suitable for you, I would love to help you out and take care of your fur baby!! Otherwise, I genuinely hope you find someone great to help you out :)

David took such amazing care of our old cat who had to have daily medication and lots of special care. Since our old boy sadly passed away, David has now looked after our two little kittens for us and they were very happy after staying at his place! Thanks so much David :)
David is friendly, reliable and punctual. My doggy took to him straight away and is always happy to see him.
