We have references on other sitter websites including the Trusted House Sitters website and I've uploaded screenshots of some of our references to our profile gallery. My Working with Children Check number (which is more stringent than a Police Check) is 0845113A-02.

My husband, Craig and I retired in March 2022. Then, we packed up our family home in Canterbury, Victoria, and resumed exploring the world. We now divide our time between Australia and overseas, including London where one of our adult daughters, Lauren is living and studying for her PhD. Our other daughter lives in Sydney and is also a pet-sitter.

Before retiring, Craig and I moved around. We lived and worked in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean.

Craig worked in the health sector as a management consultant and the CEO of a not-for-profit and three large teaching hospitals. I was a full-time Mum and had a career in accounting, marketing, and publishing.

Now that we've stepped away from full-time work and freed ourselves of the extensive ties that bound us while raising our daughters, we're choosing to live life a bit differently.

Thus, we are mature, fit, responsible sitters who understand what it's like to be a tenant and a landlord. We will look after your home as if it were our own and take care of your pets as if they belonged to us.

Our most recent experience with pet-sitting was with Harry, a two-year-old Border Collie, in Melbourne, Victoria. We looked after Harry, in his home for four weeks, while his owners were overseas. Before that, we had our own Border Collie, Truffles. He had a long and happy life and certainly brought us joy.
