Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and becoming a pet sitter allows me to combine that love with a genuine desire to help people feel confident their pets are safe and happy when they’re away. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from seeing how much comfort, routine, and consistency matter to animals. I love getting to know each pet’s personality—whether that’s an energetic dog who enjoys long walks and exploring, or a quieter companion who simply wants company and reassurance. My goal is always to provide care that is calm, personalised, and aligned with each pet’s individual needs.

I live close to the beach and surrounding natural areas, which allows me to offer engaging and enriching walks in safe, scenic environments. My typical day begins with a morning walk along the beach, providing both exercise and mental stimulation for the dogs. I work from home, which means pets are never left alone for long periods, and they have access to companionship and supervision throughout the day. I also share my home with one female housemate, who is a fellow animal lover and often helps provide attention and playtime for the pets.

For pets staying with me, I have a large home with a secure, protected yard, giving them the freedom to move comfortably between indoor and outdoor spaces. This setup is ideal for both active dogs who enjoy roaming and relaxed pets who prefer quiet time in the sun. I am experienced in managing different temperaments, ensuring shy or anxious pets feel safe and giving more energetic or playful dogs appropriate outlets for their energy. I always introduce pets gradually and respectfully to each other and to new environments.

In the event of an emergency, I am prepared to act quickly and responsibly, including contacting the owner immediately and taking pets to a trusted veterinarian if needed. I keep clear records of all pets’ routines, medical needs, and emergency contacts to ensure that I can respond effectively to any situation.

I have previous experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, including overnight boarding, day care, and in-home visits. I am attentive to routines around feeding, exercise, and medication, and I provide regular updates so owners can feel reassured while away. For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in my care, I only accept fully vaccinated animals into my home.
