"WHEN I LOOK INTO THE EYES OF AN ANIMAL, I DON'T SEE AN ANIMAL. I SEE A LIVING BEING. I SEE A FRIEND. I FEEL A SOUL."
Hi, I'm Linda My friends say I'm a bit of an animal tragic and I would just love to look after your pet while you have a stress free time away. We have a fully enclosed and rather large backyard with high fences so it is very secure, unless your dog can pole vault!
I work as a health professional but only two days a week and my partner Martin, has recently retired. This means your dog will have company nearly all of the time where they are free to sit inside or out, watch TV with us, dine with us, sleep in the same room with us, trips to the cafe, rides in the car, paddling pool for hot summer days... but most of all lots of love and cuddles on offer. Too, if balls are their focus, then the yard is large enough to accommodate plenty of ball games. There is a dog park (unleashed area) that is a 9 min walk from here, plenty of visits to there or walks on offer if your dog is not that social. It's all fun and games here in Croydon if you have 4 legs, or 3.
When my beloved 19yr old Burmese cat "Poo" died 2 years ago, she left a huge void and so primarily, it is this and my great love for animals that finds me on this site wanting to care for your pet. You will find when they stay with me that I go the extra mile, my reviews are testament to this and taking the time to read them should give you the reassurance one needs before entrusting me with the responsibility of your pet. Check out the photos of all my happy dog clients taken during their time with us. That gorgeous goat belongs to a friend, it is not mine as some people have assumed.
I only take one dog at a time (except on rare exceptions) so your dog will be the king or queen of the house. I feel strongly that your pet should be part of the family or why have one?
Although I love them, I am sorry I cannot take large dogs (my lounge-room is a bit too small) and NO puppies please, adorable though they are. Unless they are too old to bother anymore, I would like your dog to be de-sexed. I would hate to return them pregnant, or a new parent of dubious descent.
I am happy to come and visit and care for your cat , or your goat, in your home. Whatever you've got, bring it on, but home visits can only be undertaken in suburbs very close to mine. I do not like to commit to bookings more than 2 months in advance but there may be occasions where I can save dates for you that are further on. Please, when you contact me, include a little bio about your dog, and ensure you have filled out the profile section. This speeds up the process before we can then go ahead for an exciting meet and greet.
NB I am sorry but I will not be available for most of March as I will be away.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Our spoodle Teddy stayed with Linda recently and we couldn't be happier to have found her as a dog sitter. Pre-booking communincation was terrific, we had a thorough meet and greet and Teddy has had a wonderful stay with Linda and her husband. They went to great lengths to make sure Teddy was comfortable in their house and kept me updated with videos and photos of his adventures during his stay. He was exhausted when he got home, he'd had such a good time!
We can’t thank Linda and Martin enough for looking after our little rescue staffy Indie. We were nervous at leaving her due to it being the first time we had been away since adopting her, but Linda put me at ease straight away by sending daily updates including photos and videos! We can tell she was thoroughly looked after and will not hesitate to contact her in the future. Can’t recommend Linda enough! Thank you :)
