Hi, I am Judy and I have recently moved to Kamba ACT in Nov 2018 . I previously lived in the Cremorne/Neutral Bay Area Sydney and happily worked with Pawshake and met lots of lovely people and pets. I have always loved animals in all shapes and sizes. I have recently bought a Cavoodle puppy, Boo but would love the opportunity to help look after Pawshake customers beloved fur kids (or feather or scaly)

I left full time work in 2011 to care for my elderly father. He lived at home with me until he was over 99years old. Dad passed away recently (June 2017) so I’m feeling a little lost and would love to be greeted by a friendly wagging tail or a purring leg-rubbing curl of a furry friend who needs a little TLC.

In the past I have had my own dog, cat, horse, birds, tortoise, mice and fish. I have also spent 20years working at a “well known” Sydney animal park/zoo where I worked with visitors, staff and of course animals. I trained volunteers in animal knowledge and animal handling. I was an authorised/qualified animal handler for reptiles, non venomous snakes and Aus Mammals (including Koala handling). I am responsible, flexible and caring and would like opportunity to interact with animals again.

I have made some great fur and people friends through Pawshake in Sydney and would like to do the same in Canberra. I now living in a townhouse with 2 large courtyards and fully secure fencing.
