Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs at every stage of my life, which sparked a genuine passion for animal health, behaviour, and care. Through personal experience and ongoing research, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.

I currently share my home with two laid-back Ragdoll cats who are very accustomed to dogs, having regularly dog-sat my family’s Cavalier and raised/trained a German Shepard. They truly couldn’t care less about canine visitors, which helps create a calm and stress-free environment. I am experienced in caring for pets with different personalities, whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or somewhere in between. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and boundaries so they can settle in comfortably at their own pace.

My daily routine is structured around the pets in my care. This includes regular feeding schedules, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection (for those who enjoy cuddles), balanced with quiet time for rest. Pets are never left unsupervised for long periods, and I closely monitor interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. For dogs, walks are tailored to their energy levels and needs, whether that’s a leisurely sniff-filled stroll or a more active outing. I use secure leads and harnesses as requested and am mindful of weather conditions and local surroundings.

Safety is a top priority in my home. My backyard is fully enclosed and regularly checked for potential hazards, and I ensure doors and gates are always secure. I follow any specific care instructions closely, including dietary requirements, medication, or special routines, and I’m attentive to signs of stress or discomfort so I can respond promptly. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.

As I’m currently unemployed and have a Grade 1 child, I have plenty of time, flexibility, and attention to dedicate to your furry family member(s). Your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll be cared for, loved, and treated like one of my own.

I provide a cosy home with a spacious backyard, plus plenty of nearby parks and enclosed areas, so your furry family member can enjoy a safe and happy stay.
