I am a qualified dog trainer with Cert III in dog training and behaviour (currently studying Cert IV). I have experience with purebreds, rescues and assistance/guide dogs. My training ethos is force free positive reinforcement training - your dog will be rewarded with high quality dog treats and no aversive techniques used. 

I am also a volunteer raising guide and assistance dogs. Previous volunteer at RSPCA, working with behaviour modification and walking a variety of dog sizes and breeds. Part-time role running puppy socialisation classes on weekends. I have experience in raising labradors and poodle for both guide dogs and service (assistance) dogs. 

I am a very caring dog owner with strong leadership and belief in the ability to both communicate with your pup and enrich their lives. I am the owner of pawswag.com.au, a business to help dog owners strengthen bonds through training, enrichment toys and mental stimulation. I have experience with very young puppies (from 4 - 8 weeks old) to older dogs (13+ yrs). Experience in training house manners, general obedience and understanding dog behaviours and body language. 

If booking one walk; duration approximately 45 mins, depending on age and breed. I do not take more than one dog at a time, unless from same household. Walk and train - your dog will learn good leash behaviours. No off-leash time in unsecured environment unless established a good recall (repeat customers) or specified by you. 

I am comfortable giving medication if required. Please specify what type of care and temperament of your dog (any fears or concerns) in booking request, the more information, the better. Is your dog fearful of anything - other dogs, people, children, birds?
