Hello fellow Pawshakers, my name is Laura and I’m a 28 year old wildlife keeper and presenter, specialising in native animals. I am owned by my lovely cat, Mitten, whom I adopted from the Animal Welfare League 14 years ago. I am a strong believer in animal adoption and finding forever homes for all pets, and as such love working with rescue animals from all walks of life.
I’ve been on Pawshake for over four years now, and in that time have made some beautiful friendships with pets and owners alike. My primary services are dog walking and house visits, as well as basic grooming and training. I have the most experience with dogs and cats, but am also well equipped (and eager) to care for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, and reptiles. I particularly love medium and large dog breeds, and have regularly walked multiple strong dogs at one time.
I currently live in Coromandel Valley and enjoy walking pups around the Belair National Park, Frank Smith oval, and the Sturt River, and will happily drive a client to the perfect starting point for a walk if these spots are a little far! I can also take dogs to nearby dog friendly parks where they can socialise and explore with other four-legged friends. My walks average 45-60 minutes depending on the needs of the dog.
I also offer once and twice daily home visits, with each visit generally lasting 15-30 minutes, and including things such as collecting mail, watering plants, taking out bins, and any extra duties your pet may require (brushing, medicating, etc).
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you with all of your pet-related needs!

Laura is a fantastic carer for our cats while we are away. She helps us so much and the girls love her.
Hi this is the second time we have used Laura and knew Bonnie would be in great hands!
