Hi, I’m Maria! I’m originally from Brazil and have had a deep passion for caring for dogs since I was a child. I grew up with 8 dogs and have over 20 years of hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes—including Pitbulls, Staffies, Poodles, Cavoodles, Bulldogs, Labradors, and Golden Retrievers.

My love for animals only grew stronger through the years I spent helping my dad, who was a veterinarian for over 40 years. I spent a lot of time at his clinic, observing and learning about dog behaviour, health, and care. That experience gave me the confidence and knowledge to look after dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and personalities.

I truly enjoy building a bond with each dog I care for and always aim to provide a calm, loving, and safe environment. I’d love to help care for your dog and support you by giving them the love and attention they need while you’re busy with work or life. Their happiness is my priority!

Availability:

I’m usually available afternoon, and evening, depending on my schedule. I aim to be flexible and work around your and your pet’s needs.

Home visits

During home visits, I stay with your pets long enough to ensure they’re fed, walked (if needed), played with, and given lots of attention and care. I’m also happy to help with small tasks like watering plants, bringing in the mail, and checking on the house.

For dog walking, walks usually last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs and energy levels. I walk in safe and pet-friendly areas nearby—local parks, walking tracks, or around your neighbourhood.

For house sitting, I can stay in your home and care for your pets for as long as required, as long as it fits in with my schedule. While house sitting, I take care to keep your home secure, follow your instructions, and maintain a clean and respectful space.
