My name is Lani and I would love the opportunity to look after your furry loved ones.
As a pet owner myself, I know how it feels to leave them behind.
I have a Bachelor in Veterinary Science that I completed at the University of Queensland in 2012. Since then I have worked as a vet for a few years specialising in big and small animals so I am no stranger to providing medical care when required. I have also volunteered as a wildlife carer and worked with exotic and young animals. So I understand many requirements and needs.
In 2015 I changed jobs and I now work in the defence force, but still animals will always be my passion and they are a part of my family!
I travel often with work and understand how families feel leaving their loved animals at home and would like to provide a helpful hand.
I am available to visit once or twice a day to check in with your animals as well as take them for walks, check the mail, take out the bins and water plants.
My current fur family consists of two energetic border collies (Elsie & Jasper), one DSH cat (Oscar) and one large maine coon (Halle). I have had birds, turtles and fish in the past.
Looking forward to hearing from you and wishing you all a lovely and safe holiday,
Lani was great with my cat, Abigail, who had recently been diagnosed with diabetes and needs two insulin injections per day. I was looking for something with some experience with giving injections and Lani was perfect. Her communication after each visit was great. I highly recommend her.
Could not have asked for better care and communication .
