Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah, I'm 32 years old and live in the Fitzroy North area. 

I am available for home visits for cats or other small animals (not taking on any more dog clients at this time).

I do this side job because I truly love both cats and dogs (really all animals), and being around them brings me extra happiness!

Experience

While attending university, I worked at a doggy day care which could facilitate over a hundred dogs within a day. There I gained experience with dogs of all different sizes, ages, and personalities. I would ensure their safety during play times, make sure they were properly fed throughout the day, and cleaned up after them. I also gained experience with administering medicine for some of the boarding dogs. This job taught me how to act around dogs in order to make them feel calm and secure as well as teaching me how to act in an emergency situation.

I've also been a pet/house sitter for over seven years. I started out pet sitting for my neighbors in the US, but was quickly recommended to others and gained steady employment from it. I have always been known to the people I house sit for as someone they can rely on and trust. While I’ve never owned dogs of my own, I have lived with people who do, and have always loved taking them out for walks.

My schedule is pretty flexible as long as given enough notice, but I can also accommodate last minute requests. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!
