We have always had dogs and cats but recently our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks both passed away with cancer.
We don't want to get new pets of our own as we will be travelling from time to time and feel that we don't want to leave our pets with others for too long.
Ideally we would love to treat your pets as if they were our own and spend time with them, not just dropping in to fill the food/water bowls.
My husband and I are semi-retired and have flexibility with timing.
We would both be involved in the caring of your pets and feel that it is much better for your pets to stay in their own environment.
I would particularly like to spend time with cats/kittens as my husband has forbidden me to have cats at our property as they kill the local birdlife.
We would be happy to walk your dogs to keep them (and us) in a fit and healthy state for your return.
Julie took extra special care to give Artie company and affection while we were away. She did above and beyond what was expected.
Through no fault of Julie's, the dogs got out and ended up in the pound. Which would have been stressful for her.
Once I found where they were and organised the release, Julie went and collected them.
Julie is a dog lover.
