I am a single parent, for the last 10years, who also owns her own business. I have 3 gorgeous daughters - 18.5, 17 & 14, and have a beautiful home all pet friendly. We have 3 cats atm, 2 of them are rescue cats, and would love to get a dog as well but our hectic lifestyles of dancing and travelling around at certain times of year unfortunately doesn't allow this. We have done a lot of sitting for friends of ours over the years and one of them suggested we join up with this group. We also have 2 outdoor bird cages - no birds atm.
To me animals are family. We play with them, we love them, we spoil them rotten and at the end of the day they get nothing but food and cuddles :)
If this sounds like what you are looking for please don't hesitate to let me give you peace of mind and 'love your fur baby' while you are away. With my business I now only work 2 half days away from home a week and am home managing during the rest of the time so I have plenty of time to spoil them :)
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Lorraine has a very warm, calm & friendly personality which made the decision to leave our dogs with her a much easier decision. The dogs felt right at home from the very first meeting and came back home as happy as they left it.
We were very happy with the care that Lorraine and her family provided to Dusty. From our inital meet and greet I felt very comfortable leaving Dusty at their place and knew he would be in good hands. The updates that Lorraine provided while we were away were great and we came home to a relaxed and happy dog. Thankyou!
We will be definetely booking Dusty in for future holidays with Lorraine.
My middle daughter is just graduating from high school and is looking at enrolling in a certificate of animal studies at the Alexandra Hills Tafe. We have all volunteered, except my youngest, with the local animal shelters and have worked with 'pets without partners' to help find new homes for abandoned pets, fostering them and sometimes nursing them back to full health, until a suitable family can be found.
