Hi my name is Ellise. I am 27 and I have recently returned from the country where I taught for four years at an Area School. I have moved into a house with a large backyard with plenty of space and grass. Since being away, I have missed the company of our family dogs. At any one time, there was usually three dogs at home. A moodle - Evie, a labradoodle - Stella, and a toy poodle - Ruby, my little baby who travelled back and forth with me. I realised just how quiet my house was with no one or no dogs to love. So with being back in the city, I found this opportunity which can allow me to look after other people's dogs, giving them the peace of mind that their little one, or big one, will be well looked after and loved. Ruby, Evie and Stella often meet my brother's dog Alfie the Irish Wolfhound at the beach. Despite his size, Alfie is very gentle with little dogs. All our dogs sleep inside. No it's just me and Ruby and my new home, but she always sleeps on the bed with me like another human - head on the pillow and half tucked in (she does this herself, not me!)
At the moment I can offer daily or twice daily home visits to ensure your loved pooch is well looked after. I am happy to house sit if you feel your dog would be more comfortable in its own home with my company. In regards to walks, for smaller dogs, I would take them for a half hour walk around the block or to the park with your consent per day. Larger dogs, 45minutes to an hour long walk around the block or if you're happy, along the beach per day.
I am a Temporary Relief Teacher across various schools and can negotiate times for home visits. Depending on my bookings for work, I will have the flexibility to spend hours or the day with your dog. On the days that I am working, I can still commit to walking and the home visits.
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you would like when thinking about choosing me to be your dog sitter.
Ellise has been a wonderfully reliable dog walker. Our dogs love her and start wagging and circling as soon as they hear her coming. Highly recommended!
