I currently own 2 Australian Shepherds, Kaiser & Wrenleigh. I have always loved animals since I was very little. I love my boys and we do everything we can together. Our activities include hiking, going to the beach, Herding training and trials, obedience/rally training and trials, netball training and games. Hopefully in the near future Kaiser will be trained as a therapy/companion dog.

HOLIDAY DOG WALKING: I am use to walking and handling multiple dogs on lead at once. My regular dogs that I use to walk included walking my two boys with a clients two malamutes twice a week. As you can imagine these malamutes were big and strong boys who took a bit of work to train to walk properly on lead being entire males however, after some training and patience, I was able to manage all four boys at the same time. You should have no worries about whether I can handle multiple dogs on walks even if you think they are a little difficult! :) All walks usually last between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the amount of exercise your dog usually receives. I will continue to give the same exercise to your dog as you would normally do. If this means you take your dog to the local park to run around and sniff all the delightful smells, I will take them to the same park. If you usually walk the streets with your dog, I will do the same for them. However, if your dog does not have a set routine and is happy to go exploring, I am more than happy to take them on adventures. Please note: currently, I do not do regular dog walking due to an ever changing work schedule.

HOUSE VISITS: If you are looking at house visiting services and you have friendly pets, I am not one to just visit, feed/water and leave again. I will stay and spend at least 20 minutes with your pet, giving them the cuddles and attention they would normally receive from you. If your pets are more on the shy side toward strangers or are just the type that don't like receiving attention, I will always stay to endeavour to get to know your pet and their quirks a little more. Some animals just need a little more time to get to know strangers, and I am always patient with these animals to reassure them I am a safe person who will not harm them. I find it is crucial to try to develop a relationship with your pets, especially if you are looking for someone on an ongoing basis to make home visits.

HOUSE SITTING: If you are looking for house sitting services in your own home, my husband and I always endeavour to keep the routine of your animals as consistent as possible. At our meet and greet, I will always ask about feeding schedules, favourite toys and quirky habits of your pet so I am as prepared as possible to make their time away from you comfortable. Where as at the meet and greet my husband will play with your animals and become best friends with them in seconds! When you are away, your dog will become part of our pack and be taken on the many adventures with the boys and I. We always buy our own groceries unless you have fruit and vegetables that will need to be eaten. Upon your return, your house will be cleaned. We please ask that linen and towels be provided and we will make sure they are washed and at least hanging out on the clothes line on your return. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE THINKING OF HOUSE SITTING SERVICES: we do prefer that our two boys come with us to stay as well. They are extremely well behaved and very respectful of the resident animals we look after.

We also have a young child (under 1), who has been coming with us to stay and help look after the animals. He adores all animals and finds them extremely entertaining.
