About Angeline
Hello! My name is Angeline, and I am currently a third year vet student studying Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney, set to graduate and be a full-fledged veterinarian by end 2025, and I am 27 this year. I am an international student coming from Singapore, and I am on this website in the hopes of earning some extra pocket money by combining it with one of my greatest passions.
I have grown up around animals my entire life; I have owned dogs, rabbits, hamsters and fish before. I also have a total of 3 years of work experience in a veterinary clinic as a full-time veterinary nurse, where I have administered medication to both dogs and cats orally, intravenously and subcutaneously. So you can be rest assured that your beloved pet will be in good hands if you do entrust me with the task of pet-sitting!
I am able to deal with animals of different personalities as well, and I am always up for a challenge. I have volunteered in animal shelters before, and I have also fostered dogs before, so I do have experience with rescue animals. I am also FearFree professionally certified, so you can be rest assured that your pet will not be inappropriately handled, and I am educated on how to minimise their fear, anxiety and stress as much as possible. I am okay with mess as well if your animal is not toilet-trained. I have also previously worked as an assistant pet groomer for 3 months, so I will be able to clip your animal's nails, clean their ears, shower them as well as brush their fur. I have also attended a pet first aid course and am trained to give domestic animals CPR and certified in choking management. I also have more than 3 years of paid experience as a veterinary nurse, and am highly qualified to give medical treatment eg feeding oral medications, administering subcut fluids etc.
I currently live in Campsie, and work in Petersham but I am open to discussion on travelling to your area! My schedule is also flexible, so do inquire on my availability as it changes all the time. As a vet student, I only have to go to camden once to twice a week, so I am very much available for house visits and house sitting.
I do hope you will choose me, and I look forward to working for you as well as your pet!
