Hello! My name is Sophie, I’m 35 years old and based in Camperdown, a beautiful area surrounded by plenty of dog friendly parks that are perfect for walks and playtime. I am a dedicated and experienced former Animal Care Assistant, with a lifelong passion for supporting and caring for animals.

For two years, I worked at an animal rescue shelter in South London, where I gained hands on experience with animals of all kinds. This role gave me invaluable skills in understanding a wide variety of needs, behaviors, and personalities, from the shy and nervous to the energetic and excitable. I believe every pet deserves individual attention, patience, and kindness, and I always make it my priority to ensure they feel safe, loved, and cared for.

Alongside my professional background, I also have personal experience as the owner of a rescue Cocker Spaniel with special behavioral needs. This gave me firsthand insight into the importance of patience, consistency, and compassion when caring for pets who may be reactive or require a little extra support.

I currently offer pet sitting, boarding, and walking services, tailored to each pet’s needs. Walks are flexible depending on what your dog is used to, but typically I provide 2–3 walks per day. Being in Camperdown means I have access to wonderful green spaces, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and enrichment. I board one dog at a time to ensure they receive my full attention and care, but I can consider more if needed. I am also experienced and confident in administering medication, ensuring your pet’s health needs are safely managed.

I live in a two bedroom house with a roommate (who also loves animals!). It has a small garden and I am just a short walk from many dog friendly parks, making it easy to give pets the outdoor time and stimulation they need. As I work from home, I am available throughout the day to provide companionship, care, and attention to meet all of your pet’s needs.
