Hi there! 

I’m Kendra 😊 I’m a New Zealander living in Cairns with my fiance, Tom. I absolutely adore caring for animals and being around them day to day. Becoming a pet sitter and dog walker felt like a really natural fit for me because I love helping pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their humans are away. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your furry family members, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

I have over 12 months of hands-on house-sitting experience, caring for all sorts of animals with different routines, temperaments, and needs. I’ve looked after playful, high-energy dogs who need regular walks and attention, as well as more laid-back pets who just want company and consistency. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on keeping pets the happiest they can be. 

Alongside pet sitting, I've worked professionally for not-for-profit organisations, including Assistance Dogs New Zealand Trust. This has strengthened my sense of care, reliability, and communication, all of which I bring into my pet sitting work. 

My motivation is simple: I love animals and I want pet owners to feel completely at ease knowing their pets are in kind, capable hands. 🐾
