We are a mature aged, professional couple who own a home in Byron Bay and love travelling and discovering new places!
We are both self-employed (David is a book publisher and Susan is a bookkeeper/BAS agent) and can work from home. We collectively have passions for books/knowledge, food, nature, travel, music, the arts - and animals!!
We were house-sitting continuously during 2019/2020 until Covid19 struck. We have looked after some truly beautiful homes, managed a luxury cattery, and gave an abundance of love, affection and great care to the many precious pets we had the privilege of living with.

We recently managed a luxury cattery in Tasmania for 10 days whilst the owners where overseas. It was fully booked over the Easter period with 20 cats in residence. In addition to all of the cat care duties, we took care of all administration tasks including taking new bookings, check-ins and outs, payments and updating database on specialised software.
My partner and I both have recent police checks available for your perusal.
We have accumulated excellent references from all of the positions we have had to date, as well as several character references.
We have had experience caring for chickens.
I have previously volunteered with cat shelter Pets For Life.
