Hello! My name is Harley and I’m originally from Manchester, England. I’ve spent much of my life living abroad in Asia, where my family and I rescued and adopted many street dogs and cats. I’ve been lucky to care for animals of all ages, sizes and temperaments, and I currently come from a home with four cats and two dogs, so caring for animals is truly part of my everyday life.

Over the past several years I’ve provided pet sitting, dog walking and in-home care for families in Bali, Thailand and Sydney. This includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, and maintaining routines so pets feel relaxed and safe while their owners are away.

In Bali, I also spent time learning handling and behaviour techniques from a local dog trainer who had worked with Cesar Millan. This helped me better understand dog body language, calm energy, and how to approach dogs in a way that builds trust, especially with nervous or reactive pets.

I’m very mindful that every pet has a different personality. Some are energetic and playful, others are shy or anxious, and some just want quiet company. When I meet a pet, I take time to read their behaviour and adjust my approach so they never feel rushed or threatened.

I also have hands on experience giving pets tablets and applying creams and oils when needed. For example, I have regularly given my own dog oral tablets and applied topical treatments to his fur and skin, always gently and calmly to keep him relaxed.

One of my favourite pet sitting memories was caring for two cats and a dog in Bali. After feeding them, walking the dog and spending time playing and grooming them, all three ended up curled up around me on the couch, completely relaxed and happy. Moments like that are why I love doing this.

I offer dog walking, house sitting and pet sitting, drop in visits, feeding and playtime, and companionship and routine care.

I cover areas all across the Gold Coast and can also travel to select areas past Coomera. I’m available Monday to Friday from 2pm onwards, and with notice I can sometimes be available earlier in the day.

Your pet’s safety and wellbeing always come first. I make sure dogs are walked securely, routines are followed, homes are respected, and pets receive plenty of attention, exercise and care.
