What your Doggy can expect?

We live in Burleigh Heads and live in a house with a big yard by the water with our beloved Toller, Bodhi. (You can learn more about Bodhi on the Pawshake Pet page.) There's plenty of room for your dog to experience a 'home away from home'. Whether it's chillaxing on the day bed, creek swimming, puppy selfies with Bodhi, zen time in the zen den or enjoying a ride on our surf ski, we'll make sure your dog receives absolute 5 star love and care. After all, your dog deserves nothing less, right?

I work from home Monday - Friday and have a flexible work schedule. We're also available for Doggy Day Care, Dog Walking and Dog Sitting.

The Backstory

I am a dog lover from way back! Since 1984 to be exact. 31 years. My parents were so amazing... they bought me a corgi puppy for my 1st birthday!

Since then I was the proud and doting owner of 2 little corgi puppies that I loved with, laughed with and adventured with for more than 24 years!

In 2009 I moved to London and met my Husband (Michael) who also shares a love for dogs and was an owner to a cheeky red head pooch growing up.

The apartment style living in London wasn't conducive to owning our own dog, sadly, and landlords were never really doggy friendly! Discrimination! :-) This left a hole in our hearts after so many years of living with a furry friend. So what did we do...? We became volunteer dog walkers, of course! We shared 5 magical years walking English Sheep Dogs, Golden Retrievers, Poodles, Labradoodles, Jack Russels, Pugs, Beagles, Bulldogs, Collies, Chihuahua's, Welsh Terrier's and many more! We mostly walked them in the lucious green surrounds of Hyde Park, but sometimes we'd take them on a Tube adventure to visit friends for BBQs (they loved sausages!)
