I am a 24-year-old student studying full time at Curtin and working part-time. Although it may sound full-on, I have quite a lot of free time at home which I usually spend looking after the house, studying, reading, but I could do so much more! I am here to offer my services as a pet sitter alongside my partner, Sylvia, who shares my student title.
We both adore animals and have been waiting for the day we can get our own, we just cannot decide! We thought it would be an excellent idea to use our excess of free time to offer our pet sitting services to those who did whilst allowing us to have a seemingly endless amount of furry friends.
I personally have looked after a fair few different furry friends throughout my life, from big to small and I cannot say I have met a single one who disliked me or who did not end up like me. My partner and I have also experienced pet owners, both owning a few dogs as we grew up and myself having had cats, birds, rodents, even cows and chickens due to living on a farm for a time. Caring for different animals is second nature!
Unfortunately, we’ve recently discovered my partner Sylvia has an allergic reaction to Staffys, and are currently not taking bookings of any purebred or cross until we can properly identify the severity and extent to which the allergy goes. Our sincerest apologies.
Schedule and Services
To clarify our schedule to see if it fits your dog's needs, we are normally at university:
Monday-Wednesday from 8 am to 12 pm
Thursday 2 pm to 5 pm.
We much prefer to study at home and only live 10 minutes from our university.
Brett - Friday and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm and 9 am to 6 pm
Sylvia - Friday 1 pm to 9 pm.
Your pets will only ever spend 4 hours without one of us!
Our services include:
Dog Sitting - We welcome any dog to stay with us for however long is needed (within reason) Big or small, we don't mind
Dog Walking - We are more than happy to walk your dog twice a day and we usually spend about 30-45 minutes on each walk, though we can modify it to suit each dog's needs.
There are a few parks all within walking distance of our home where other dogs frequent and are accepted to play around. Please let us know whether you would like your dog to take part, or whether they prefer to avoid other animals and we will tailor every walk to their requirements.
Baths are also included with every boarding booking.
Our home is a lovely 3 bedroom house in Bull Creek that we have all to ourselves. Tiles and wood in the main areas and bedrooms carpeted. We are more than happy to keep your dogs inside or outside, or both! Just let us know beforehand what they like to chew (like paintbrushes).
Our house has a large backyard with plenty of room to run around, fully fenced and a strong, locked gate to the front yard which is kept closed and padlocked 24/7.
Pets can sleep where they naturally do at home, just let us know where to setup their beds.
We are more than happy to take in any animal of any size with any temperament.
Animals requiring constant attention may not be suited as we do leave the house during the aforementioned hours, though if your animal is okay without us for a few hours at a time then that is perfect.
For any requirements do not hesitate to contact us and we can discuss the particulars.
I would highly recommend Brett and Sylvia.
Kingsley was a very happy boy staying with Brett, Sylvia and little Cloe. Will use them again.
