Background:
I am a registered nurse and doggo lover, who is happiest when hanging with the hounds in my downtime. I've been around dogs since birth, growing up with German Shepherds, Jack Russells and English Pointers. I live with my partner, James, a fellow animal lover who has grown up bouncing around with Springer Spaniels, so between us we are comfortable with dogs of varying size, behaviour and personality types!
We have recently made our family complete with our cheeky little Chepé, a 5 month old English cocker spaniel! Chepé is extremely well socialised, and while he’s keen to meet, greet and play he’s quick to back off and chill if the sentiment is not reciprocated! He’s spent plenty of time playing, staying and holidaying with other doggos!
Motivation and Experience:
We love being active and outside. My motivation for doggy care services is driven by my passion for strolling in nature with my four-legged pals. It’s also much more fun for Chepé to hang out and go on adventures with some new mates!!
I’ve been pawshaking regularly for the past couple of years, but previously cared for various pets of friends since moving to Melbourne from the UK. I have found dog walking and sitting allows me to combine various passions with some flexible extra work hours! I have experience with a diverse range of breeds.
Living and walking facilities:
I live in a large two bedroom apartment with a large secure rooftop area and adequate floor space for dogs to trot around, sniff and explore. Your pups will stay inside with me, where they will be treated like a member of the family! They have access to the whole apartment and my outdoor area whilst I’m not home.
We have a large dog park less than 5 minutes walk away which includes a secure enclosed area. This is my regular walking spot as it’s great for socialising, but I like to take more energetic pups for a good run to Royal Park or over to a dog beach. Brighton and Altona dog beaches are some of my favourite social spots - but I’ll always check what you’re comfortable with first. We love to get out in the countryside or down the coast on days off, so if you’re happy for your doggos to have an adventure out with us we are always keen for the action!
I generally recommend myself for small to medium breeds - as a small female, I much prefer to be in control. However, if your dog is well trained, placid and easy going large dog, please contact me, and I will be happy to accommodate. I am happy to care for well-socialised dogs who are tolerant of puppies.
Availability:
I work part time shift work - my days and hours vary, but James is working from home so there is currently 24/7 companionship available for our furry guests!
I love to come home and pamper the pooches, as part of my sitting service we will always ensure that your dogs walking and social needs are met.
On my days off I will give your pooch the full day of my undivided attention that they deserve, long walks and adventures included, as part of my doggie boarding service. Please contact me with any queries... I hope to be caring for your favourite furry friend(s) shortly!

Nichola took fantastic care of our English Cocker Spaniel Jarvis. He enjoyed lots of fun activities and truely being welcomed into her home. Can highlight recommend her!
Always a pleasure leaving Pixie with Nichola and James, she absolutely loves staying with them
Whilst I am not specialised in animal care, as a nurse I have recent national and international police checks (and some nifty first aid skills and intuition!)
