I grew up on a farm with animals being a big part of my life and family. Pets usually take to me quickly as they sense I love having them around. I have no pets at the moment as I travel too much, but I have lived with cats and dog fur-babies for most of my life. In exchange for giving them the attention they need, they reward me with the love, affection and cuddles we all enjoy. Taking puppies for walks motivates me to exercise and we enjoy the social outings where we can meet other animal lovers on one of our walks along the beaches or parks. I've been officially house and pet-sitting for others since 2017 as it suits my lifestyle of travelling for work and studying online. The pets and I happily keep each other company so it's a win-win situation for us all. I currently work as an itinerant Trainer, helping young adults find their motivation and career path. I have a passion for bridging the divide between the tech savvy and the technologically challenged, so I am studying my degree in Information Technology. To balance out all that head work I enjoy daily meditations, eating a healthy low-carb mostly vegetarian diet, swimming at the beach and trying to stay as active as possible. Due to my work and study commitments, I am unable to give pets under 2 years old the one on one time they deserve. I suit more mature animals who are used to their owners going off to work and can thrive on all the cuddles I'll be giving them in the evenings. I have my own small car which I use to transport the pets and I to the beach, parks, vet and shops. I currently provide house-sitting services on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. I am available to meet face-to-face depending on where I am at the time, or via a video call. What I request from you as the Home/Pet Owner is access to a reliable internet service if its a rural property, use of electricity, a warm clean private bed, access to amenities, and a well-written emergency action plan in case anything unlikely crops up while you are away. I will be studying online from home in between training projects, while I keep your home in the condition you left it in, your pets happy and safe, enabling you to fully enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your gorgeous furry family soon.
Felicity is a terrific pet sitter, I was able to go away for the weekend knowing my three beasties Molly my dog, Max my daughter's cat and Herbie my budgie were going to be safe and well cared for. Felicity kept in touch and sent my photos, even one of Herbie all of which I showed my friends of course. I highly recommend Felicity as a pet sitter as I am sure my pets do too.
Thank you Felicity for giving me peace of mind so I could have a fun weekend talking to old and making new friends, spinning, learning a new way of dyeing wool also how to do brioche knitting........... the only trouble is I ate too much and spent too much on merino fibre !
Bring on next years spinning and weaving camps ! I hope you will be available for some of them Felicity
Felicity was a fabulous pet sitter. She took the care and time to send us regular updates and photos which made our holiday even more enjoyable. Her communication was top notch and I have no hesitation in recommending her to others. Thank you Felicity - we loved having you care for our house and pet 💖
Feeding pets, administering oral medications if required, daily pet cuddles, puppy play and walks around the area, watering plants, keeping the house as clean as you left it, putting the bins out and collecting the mail. I am also trustworthy, honest and reliable, and happy for any background checks to be done.
