Hello Pet Lovers! My name is Clara, I am a 26 year-old who has a huge passion for all animals, big or small, no matter their disposition (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles...). For example, I have experience with rescue animals, having grown up with a rescue Lurcher myself.
I grew up in England surrounded by various animals, from dogs to cats, pigs to chickens, and even horses. At my family home in the UK we currently have four dogs, two cats, pigs and three horses. I quickly became used to looking after all of them from an early age day to day, as well as when my parents were away.
I began my pet sitting/dog walking journey during university. I helped lots of people with their pets during that time and it was a great way to keep in touch with my love for animals, whilst also providing a quality service for pet owners. I put a pause on my services when I started full time work a couple of years ago. However, I recently decided to started up again and would love to help you out!
I live in the Belmont area with my friend and her dog, and I own a car meaning that I am able to travel anywhere in the inner suburbs. I work full time in the Cannon Hill area during the week so I will not be able to offer services during the day time (M-F). However, I will generally be around on the week day evenings/overnights and weekends.
In terms of services, I can offer to pet sit at your home during the day and overnight, walk your pet and provide them with the greatest care possible. I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pets!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Thanks for looking after our girl
couldn't have felt in safer hands with Clara looking after my dog. will definitely use again!
I am studying a Bachelor of Behavioural Science/Bachelor of Justice at QUT. As previously stated, my experience with pets spans over my life, from looking after my own pets on a daily basis, as well as caring for pets of friends when they are away. Before university, in the UK I was a keen horse rider. My horse had many behavioural issues from the start so I have spent over 6 years training him and building an extremely trusting bond.
In terms of skills, I have completed many equestrian tests in animal care and through my experience of the everyday contact with various animals has meant that I can look after any animal independently and offer them a good balance of fun and love. With my dogs in the UK I have thoroughly enjoyed training all my dogs to do various tricks, I am by no means a professional trainer but I would happily train your pets to obey, sit, lie down etc.
