Hi my name is Angela and I am 39. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Animal Behaviour and welfare. I have 7 years experience in animal shelters and 20 years experience in animal care including foster animals with complex health and behavioural needs.

I have returned to study to do Animal Ecology and as a result I have a flexible schedule so am able to follow your furbubs usual routine.

I am experienced in medication administration including injections and have excellent animal handling skills. I have the experience to deal with animals with unique needs and complex behaviours. As a result I understand the importance of following an owners routine or manage any issues or unexpected behaviours that may crop up and have the experience to cope with them so you can enjoy your time away feeling secure your animal is in good hands.

Leaving your animals home when you're away can be stressful and I promise they will be in the best of care. During our meet and greet we will discuss your expectations and ensure you are comfortable with me and of course your pet!

During my drop in visits or overnight stay, I will spend that time engaged in playing with your dog or cat if they prefer having a brush or just getting plenty of scratches under a chin, then that's what I will do. I understand it can take time for some animals to warm up and I will take time for them to come out of their shell but come armed with a bag of tricks to work out what brings them joy. I have plenty of enrichment toys and activities, your not just getting a house sitter or a quick drop in, my aim is to give your pet a staycation.

I have a police check done and can provide that on request or during the meet and greet.

Additional fees for more than one animal or complex health and behavioural needs may be applied but will be discussed during the meet and greet.
