I'm a public servant in my late 20s with personal and professional experience looking after dogs, cats, rabbits, poultry, reptiles and birds. Having worked in a pet food store for 2 years, I love meeting dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. I have grown up around animals, and at different points have owned pretty much every pet - dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, chickens and a turtle. My family dog in Melbourne is a rescue husky - he is a big and boisterous, so I am comfortable with dogs who may need have special needs. I am also confident administering medication if required.

I have done pet sitting before and go above and beyond to make your pets feel comfortable and loved. I am happy to spend time sitting and cuddling them during house visits, or behaviour training during walks, or waking up early to feed them during house stays.

House visits: I feed your pet and refill water/bedding. I will clean up after then, including any litter. Then I'll spend some playing with them or cuddling with them (for some pets I know that playing might have to come before feeding time, so happy to be flexible). Happy to water any plants too!

Walks: I like to go for walks for around 45 minutes. I prefer to keep dogs on lead during walks unless I know them well, to ensure my and their safety and the safety of others. Happy to bring treats along and train if required, and comfortable walking reactive dogs.

House stays: Same as the house visit, with more hugs and walks!

House boarding: I am happy to discuss boarding at my place, however please note I live in a small apartment so boarding is only suitable for some animals. I am often out and about, so the animal will have to be toilet trained and must be able to stay at home safely and comfortably without supervision for up to 8 hours (ie during the work day). I usually prefer to do a test run too to make sure your pet is comfortable at my home.

This is the first time in my life I have lived without a pet at home, so I'm so looking forward to the opportunity to spend some much needed time with your pets!
