Hi, I'm Kathy!
I have a secure, equiped, cat-friendly home, with no animal residents. This means I can offer a safe haven to care for your furry friend.

I've always shared my life with cats. I grew up with family's cats and as soon as I moved into my own place, I adopted a ginger moggy. We had 16 amazing years together.

I'm passionate about animal welfare. For several years, I have regularly volunteered at the local RSPCA. I have clocked up more than 850 hours of experience, in the shelter, in adoptions, in low cost feline vet clinics, and in holiday programs for school kids.

I have a Certificate II in Animal Studies, where I learned about feline body language, handling, health and how to provide a cats with a safe and enriching environment.

Volunteering at RSPCA made me aware of what a difference foster care can make to shelter cats. In 2024, I took on the challenge of fostering senior cats with medical needs. Leo went on to be adopted. Next was Walter, a black tabby with white paws. After a few months, we realised we had become family - what's as a "foster fail". We adopted Wally a he had a wonderful retirement with us.
