Hi,
We are a couple in our fifties who really love dogs.
We have a very animal-friendly house where your baby can come in and out whenever they choose.
To us, dogs are as important as humans and we treat them as such. Maybe not the best idea but we do anyway.
They are very rarely alone in our care. I am an artist and am able to take your little one to work with me each day (as long as they can be calm in a quiet environment). Otherwise, we have a lovely protected outdoor area where they can stay during the day.
We will take your dog for a walk and to the park for exercise and a bit of a run. There are lots of dog-friendly, off-leash parks nearby where we live. Plus they are away from main roads and very safe. Mort Bay Park and Callen Park are only a short distance away. They are our preferred parks as there are no roads or traffic that impact on the play space for your dog.
We understand separation anxiety and you can be confident that I will pay attention to him/her and ensure they are cuddled, patted, held etc. Whatever they need. Human separation anxiety I'm less able to deal with (haha) but at least you will know they are being looked after and cared for in your absence.
We have always had pets. Sadly our last little old man passed away recently but since then we have a new member of the family. Turner is a 1 year old Bordoodle. 3/4 poodle and 1/4 border collie.
He is extremely friendly and well socialised with other dogs. Being young, he is quite playful if the other dog is interested. Having said that he also respects elderly pets that don't wish to play and tends to just leave them alone.
We have raised baby kangaroos and possums, volunteered with wildlife agencies, provided foster care for dogs through the RSPCA, adopted rescue dogs with emotional and behavioural issues, provided palliative care for animals until they were able to go to their spirit-home and more.
So... hoping you get the idea that we love animals.

Bronwyn took over the sit after our dog was distressed at being home alone during the day with the previous sitter. The dog settled in quickly thanks to Bronwyns kindness & efforts. I cant thank them enough.

Bronwyn and Kel are fantastic carers..very experienced with dogs and in our case understanding of our nervous and older whippet..everything went well and we would not hesitate to ask them to care for our dog again.Highly recommended.
