I am a 40 year old full time professional with a long history of animal husbandry and pet care. I grew up on a cattle farm in Northeast Victoria where I cared for numerous farm animals and domestic pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, horses and cows. In my adult life I have always been a pet owner (currently of one very affectionate indoor cat) and strongly believe in the health benefits of pet ownership as well as the importance of proper pet care and animal welfare.

I regularly care for the pets of family members, friends and Pawshake clients (since 2014) and have enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with different animal friends while helping people to spend time away from home with the peace of mind that their pet is being well cared for. I pride myself on being reliable, prompt and thorough, and for that reason only take on a limited number of clients at a one time and only within a local area.  

During business hours I work full time for local government so generally take on clients only outside of work hours. I spend my spare time with friends and family, at the gym, exploring parts of Melbourne and of course hanging at home with my own beloved pet Pete.
